Iowa Suicide Prevention Coalition Summit Is Aug. 29 in Cedar Falls
AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Suicide Prevention Coalition Summit: Suicide Prevention across the Lifespan will be held at the Bien Venu Event Center in Cedar Falls on Thursday, Aug. 29. This summit is sponsored by the Iowa Suicide Prevention Planning Committee, County Social Services, UnityPoint Health Allen Foundation, Mental Health/Disability Services of the East Central Region, Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, and the North Central Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Center.

Waukee's parks and recreation department revealed the designs for the two new playgrounds to be located at Spring Crest and Painted Woods West neighborhoods in western Waukee.
