Dutch women receive basketball academic honor
PELLA—The Women’s Basketball Coaches Association has once again awarded Central College special mention for its squad’s academic achievements. The WBCA recognizes NCAA, NAIA and two-year college teams across the country that carry the highest grade point averages. To receive special mention, a team must carry a combined GPA of 3.0 or higher. Central carried a 3.46 team GPA during 2023-24. Six Central players received American Rivers academic all-conference distinction, which requires a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
