My recent visit to Romano's Bar & Grill, nestled in the heart of a museum in London, was quite an experience. The place is a bit of a throwback, with a decor that screams late 90's living room vibe. It's a bit on the smaller side, with a quirky office-like area partitioned off on the dining floor. But don't let that fool you, the place was buzzing with energy, filled with parties and groups enjoying their time.
The food, however, was the star of the show. The steaks were cooked to perfection, just the way I like it - medium. The Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad was a standout, with a generous amount of dressing that left me satisfied. The crabcakes were a pleasant surprise, large and packed with jumbo lump. The pasta was a bit heavy but the delicious crabcake in the center made up for it. The chicken dish I tried was exceptional, with a sauce that was just perfect.
Despite the dated ambiance, the food and service at Romano's Bar & Grill were top-notch. It's a place where you know what you're getting, and it sure tastes good! Plus, the added bonus of being able to stroll around the museum after your meal makes it a worthwhile visit. So, if you're in London and looking for a good local spot, Romano's is worth checking out.
