Aldermen Give Final Approval To Magnolia Ridge
After more than two years of discussions, reviews and revisions, Des Peres’ first multi-family development, Magnolia Ridge, was approved by the Des Peres Board of Aldermen. The complex is on 6.45 acres at 13431 Manchester Road, east of Sam’s Club. The five-story building will have 182 units with 4,000 square feet of retail on the first floor. Amenities will include a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, outdoor kitchens, entertainment areas, a hotel-inspired lobby and a coffee area.
Suspect Charged In Assault Outside Of Webster Restaurant
Webster Groves police have identified and arrested the suspect alleged to have assaulted two women in the parking lot of a business in Old Orchard earlier this month. Robert E. Merritt, 28, of Fenton, was charged July 22 with a felony for first-degree aggravated sexual abuse and first-degree property damage in connection with the incident that occurred in the 600 block of East Lockwood Avenue the night of July 10, according to the Webster Groves Police Department. He is being held without bond.
