We're inching closer and closer towards the 2024 football season, which means it's time to take a look at West Virginia's most important players for the upcoming year. Keep in mind that this isn't a ranking of the 15 best or most talented players on the roster, but rather the guys who will make the most impact on the result of the season based on their play. Whether WVU is highly successful or not in 2024 hinges on this group of players more so than anyone else. The list is an aggregate of three separate rankings from our staff (Chris Anderson, Mike Casazza and myself).

We are nearing even closer to the 2024 college football season and a lot of Mountaineer fans have shown excitement about this team. Neal Brown will be entering his sixth season as the head coach of West Virginia and has put together a roster that’s ready to compete. Some players have been added through the transfer portal, but most were recruited by Brown and staff out of high school.
