RAGBRAI to Make Way Through Greenfield Tomorrow
The biggest bicycling event for the state of Iowa is underway. Tomorrow, the bicyclists taking part in the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) will make their way through Adair County, with Greenfield being the midday stop. The route through Greenfield has changed since the city was originally chosen as a stop, allowing bicyclists to tour through areas that were in the path of the May 21st tornado that devastated a mile long stretch of the town in a minute.

(Atlantic, Iowa) – The City Council in Atlantic will meet in a regular session beginning at 5:30-p.m., on Wednesday, July 24th, in the Chambers at City Hall. On their agenda, is a request from Wild Wayne’s, for a Special Fireworks Display on Sept 14th at dusk, with regard to Duke Aerial’s Employee Appreciation event (on private property at 103 W. 29th St.).
