Day 2 of RAGBRAI Riders Pedaling Through Lewis Favoring the Goats, and the Large Flag
(Lewis) Day 2 of RAGBRAI continues today. Cyclists are going to their overnight stop in Atlantic, passing through Elliott, Griswold, and Lewis before spending the night there. Lewis RAGBRAI Committee Chairman Sarah Archibald caught up with some riders this morning who were stopping in Lewis. The cyclists enjoyed the giant flag and the goat exhibit.
RAGBRAI to Make Way Through Greenfield Tomorrow
The biggest bicycling event for the state of Iowa is underway. Tomorrow, the bicyclists taking part in the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) will make their way through Adair County, with Greenfield being the midday stop. The route through Greenfield has changed since the city was originally chosen as a stop, allowing bicyclists to tour through areas that were in the path of the May 21st tornado that devastated a mile long stretch of the town in a minute.

(Atlantic) This morning, thousands of cyclists are leaving Red Oak for a 40.1-mile trip to their final destination in Atlantic. Day 2 of the RAGBRAI will pass through Elliott, Griswold, and Lewis before the overnight stop. RAGBRAI bringing energy and unique experiences to Atlantic
RAGBRAI is in full gear as day two brings the excited riders in to Atlantic by a 40-mile ride from Red Oak. These cyclists are from all over the country and bring in their own particular stories of what they’ve seen while on the route.
