Federal funding secures new hangar at Arkadelphia airport
The Arkadelphia Board of Directors gave unanimous approval Tuesday of a bid to construct a hangar at Dexter Florence Memorial Field. Once built, the hangar is expected to be used for overnight parking of aircraft, as well as a maintenance facility. Airport personnel told directors that there is a demand from pilots who want a place to park their planes upon flying into Arkadelphia.
