Italian restaurant with 50-year history closes in Wilmington
An Italian restaurant with roots throughout Middlesex County for about 50 years known for making food in-house has closed its Wilmington location. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of Cucina LaRosa’s, effective today,” Cucina LaRosa’s wrote in a Facebook post Thursday. “After a decade of serving meals in Billerica and Wilmington, and reflecting on our roots in Winchester during the ‘70s, the time has come to say goodbye.”

There are so many actors from New England who have made it big. Westborough Nears Approval for New Dog Park at Lake Chauncy
By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Westborough is getting closer to having a new dog park. At their last meeting the Planning Board green lit a full site plan review for the park at Lake Chauncy and the Select Board and Conservation Commission have also said yes. The Community Advocate reports the next step is to ask for bids for the construction; the Recreation Department hopes to get the actual work started in the fall. Meanwhile they are working with animal control on developing policies for park use and behavior.

On June 15, 2024 the Holliston Public Library hosted its first Drag Queen Story hour. This event was sponsored and paid for by HolliPride, a Holliston organization which has planned LGBTQ+ Pride month activities for the past four years.
