Woodway police investigating husband and wife murder-suicide
WOODWAY, Texas (KWTX) - The Woodway Public Safety Department on Friday said it is investigating a murder-suicide involving a husband and wife. On July 18 around 9:30 a.m., officers received a call regarding a murder-suicide at the 400 block of Cranbrook. The caller said there had been a murder-suicide at his address and they would find him in the living room.

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A psychologist has determined that a former McGregor man charged with capital murder in a September 2022 shooting spree that resulted in the deaths of five people is incompetent to stand trial after an evaluation revealed he is “heavily paranoid, mentally confused, delusional and combative.”
Search is on for possible Lake Waco drowning victim
Waco, Tx (FOX 44) – The search resumed on Thursday morning for a man feared to have drowned while fishing at Lake Waco. Waco Police Department spokesman Bryton Johnson said around 6 p.m. Wednesday, police and fire units were sent to the area of the Lake Waco Dam spillway on a report of a man falling down the bank while fishing and not resurfacing. Boats from the Waco Fire Department and Texas Department of Public Safety Game Warden were joined by the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office’s helicopter, searching extensively in the area without success.
