Medical Lake holds annual community yard sale

MEDICAL LAKE, Wash. -- All weekend-long, multiple homes throughout Medical Lake put their unwanted goods up for sale to give them a second chance at life.

Held on July 6 and 7, the Annual Community Yard Sale in Medical Lake was an opportunity for folks to discover unique items and connect with their neighbors.

"It was a way to meet the neighbors and not put stuff in the garbage, and to not take it somewhere where they are going to overprice it," said Robyn Fjelseth who held one of the yard sales.

Fjelseth also said it was a great way for the community to come together after last year's devastating Gray Fire.
