Kayla Burton joins NBC Sports Boston
“I’m back home covering the sports city of champions.”. NBC Sports Boston has added a familiar name to its roster of on-air personalities. The network announced Tuesday that it has hired Kayla Burton as a multiplatform host and reporter. She is the daughter of longtime Ch. 4 sports anchor Steve Burton and the granddaughter of the late Ron Burton, the first player ever drafted by the Patriots.

In MLB Tuesday, the American League beat the National League 5-3 in the All Star Game in Texas. Jarren Duran, Boston Red Sox, hit a 2 run Home Run to break a 3-3 tie. Duran was named the MVP of the Game. The AL has won 10 of the last 11 All Star Games.
