13, 18-year-old charged with first-degree murder

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 13-year-old and an 18-year-old went on a crime spree that left a man dead last month, according to Memphis Police.
On July 2, officers responded to an auto theft in the 3200 block of Woodlake Circle. At around 2 a.m., a 2018 Kia Sorento was stolen from the parking lot.
At 4:32 a.m., there was a shooting at Love’s in the 3300 block of Lamar Avenue. A man was found and pronounced dead on the scene.
At 5:25 a.m., there was a robbery at the Exxon gas station in the 4200 block of Winchester Road. Three armed suspects approached the victims and took several items. They then fled in a red Kia Sorento.
At 11:50 p.m., officers responded to a robber in the 5900 block of Wind Meadow Lane. Two armed suspects approached the victims and took several items, fleeing in a red Kia Sorento.
On July 4, officers found two males inside the Kia Sorento in the 3900 block of Bishop Bridge.
The car reportedly circled the area of Bishop Bridge. Officers initiated a traffic stop, but both suspects fled on foot, and the passenger threw a handgun as he ran.
A 13-year-old male was charged with First Degree Murder in the Perpetration of an Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Robbery, and Theft of Property $10,000-$60,000.
Vontavious Muirhead, 18, was charged with First Degree Murder in the Perpetration of an Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Robbery, and Theft of Property $10,000-$60,000.
