On May 27, police say they responded to a shooting just before 2 a.m. at an apartment complex in Parkway Village on 3950 Camelot Lane.

The victim was allegedly cleaning out his older sister’s car after she offered him $5 to do so. He chose to clean the car out around 2 a.m., police say.

That is when Winding came outside to get his du-rag out of the vehicle. According to reports, Winding did not realize it was his girlfriend’s little brother in the car and shot him three times.

Frank Winding is set to appear in court on Monday morning. He is being held in jail on a $100,000 bond.
