Former Greece deputy town supervisor pleads not guilty to corruption charges
The former deputy town supervisor of Greece on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to charges of corruption, grand larceny and official misconduct in Monroe County Court. SHORTSVILLE, NY — The new era of the Red Jacket Cardinals has begun. At the Manchester-Shortsville Board of Education meeting July 2, school district officials announced the approval of its new nickname and mascot, Cardinals, replacing Indians. Cardinals, which received 515 suggestions from students, staff, alumni and community members surveyed, beat out two other options, Rail Hawks and Bears, which received 484 and 146 suggestions, respectively.
