    2024-04-26

MENOMINEE — The M&M Area Community Foundation’s (MMACF) spring grant cycle will be open from May 1 to May 10. Nonprofits across Marinette and Menominee counties are encouraged to answer questions on a letter of intent detailing their outreach, established partnerships, leadership efforts and reasons for requesting support. More information is available at www.mmacf.org.

Grants are available from the following endowed funds held at the Community Foundation:

    • Community Health Care — This fund provides grants to organizations impacting the health and wellness of those in our communities.

    • Youth Field of Interest — Provides support for programs that improve the quality of life by implementing social, educational and recreational programs for area youth.

    • Alcohol and Other Drugs Fund — Intended to increase awareness, provide educational materials and resources, assist law enforcement and/or support treatment programs, as well as other needs related to alcohol and other drug abuse prevention.

    • Philanthropy Fund — The Philanthropy Fund supports projects that are specifically designed to “Pay It Forward.”

    • Peshtigo—The Peshtigo Area Community Endowment Fund provides grants to assist and promote charitable activities in the greater Peshtigo community.

Funding for grants is only possible because of charitable contributions from community members to funds managed by the foundation. For more information on how to give back via the foundation, please contact the MMACF at 906-864-3599.
