US60, Greenfield Road restrictions postponed for Mesa project

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers that ramp and lane restrictions originally scheduled to begin this month for a city of Mesa waterline project have been postponed until early May.

They are:

• The center turn lane of the eastbound US 60 Superstition Freeway off-ramp at Greenfield Road will be closed. Drivers will still be able to make right and left turns onto Greenfield Road.
• Northbound Greenfield Road will be reduced to one lane between Banner Gateway Drive and US 60.

The project is expected to last about five months — until approximately mid-October.

ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
