CLOQUET—The Rock Ridge High School girls golf team fired a 360 to win the Cloquet Invite held Monday at the Cloquet Golf Course.
Grand Rapids was second with 369, followed by Cloquet 377, Hermantown 385, Proctor/Esko 403, Hibbing 428, Duluth East 459 and Crosby-Ironton/Aitkin 460.
Abigail Steinert of Cloquet won the meet with an 84. Izzy Fairchild was second at 84, followed by Erin Hughes of the Wolverines at 85. Brianna Dekich of Grand Rapids and Madison Fingeroos of Rock Ridge tied for fourth with 87s.
JuliAnn Steinert of Cloquet was sixth with an 89, Mylee Young of Rock Ridge had a 90, Sydney Burggraf of Grand Rapids had a 92, Mia Peters of Grand Rapids 93 and Neelah McLeod of Proctor/Esko 95.
Sydney Spelts of Rock Ridge had a 98 to place 13th, and Kate Toewe of Hibbing had a 100 to place 16th. Emma Berg of Rock Ridge had a 101 to place in a tie for 17th.
Gabby Hutar of the Wolverines was 23rd at 104, Heidi Rasch of Hibbing was 24th at 105 and Emma Lintula of Rock Ridge was 27th at 108.
Ava Bougalis of Hibbing was 29th with a 109, Opal Valeri was 33rd with a 114, Ava Sandnas was 36th with a 116 and Alexis Bougalis was 45th with a 131.
On the boys side, Cloquet won the meet with a 305, followed by Grand Rapids at 307, Duluth East 309, Hermantown 315, Rock Ridge 317, Hibbing 318, Proctor/Esko 322, Cloquet 2 354, Duluth Denfeld 361, Mora 364, Moose Lake-Willow River 372 and Marshall 376.
Grant Faherty of the Greyhounds won the individual title with a 72. Ethan Sundvall of Hibbing had a 74, William Shermoen of Grand Rapids, Collin Young of Cloquet, Karson Young of Cloquet, Bennett Scissons of Marshall and Camden Moench of Proctor/Esko all had 75s.
Drew Stanley of Grand Rapids had a 76, Conner Swan of the Wolverines a 77.
Drew Bussey of Hibbing had a 78, Sam Gabardi had a 79.
Jason Brula of Rock Ridge had a 79, Jace Kauppi of Rock Ridge an 80 and Cruise Greschner of Rock Ridge an 81.
Dylan Horvath of Hibbing had an 89, Tim Ranta a 94 and Dawson Peterson an 87.
