FORT LAUDERDALE — Police need the public's help in finding a man accused of voyeurism after he allegedly spied on two unsuspecting women inside a changing room at Sawgrass Mills.

Around 1:45 p.m. Monday, two women confronted the man, who allegedly placed his cellphone camera over their stall at the H&M in the Broward County mall, Sunrise Police shared on social media.

After the confrontation, the man fled the store but was caught on camera leaving. A police spokesperson told CBS News Miami that he has yet to be identified and they don't know if he has victimized other people before.

CBS News Miami went inside the mall to speak with shoppers.

"It is scary with a guy walking around with a camera in the fitting room. It is scary for people using the fitting room," Sierra DeBlasio told CBS News Miami while she was shopping. "I would like to see him caught, absolutely."

"What would you like to say to the public if they have seen this guy?" CBS News Miami asked.

"Tell us who they are so we can catch this person," she said.

"Do you feel uncomfortable going to fitting rooms not knowing if a camera is there?" CBS News Miami added.

"I never thought about it before," DeBlasio said. "But now I will."

"You would work about a camera from the store maybe peeking in but you would never think about someone purposely putting in a cell phone camera in a fitting room," added shopper Emily DeBlasio. "I think it is gross and it is disturbing. I would like to see him caught for sure."

"It's definitely concerning and it is scary," she said.

A manager for the H&M where it happened declined to comment.

CBS News Miami also reached out to Sawgrass Mills for a comment but it has not responded.

If anyone can identify the man or has further information, please call the Sunrise Police Department Communications Center at (954) 764-4357 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
