The Miami Marlins continue their four-game series with the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park as they will play Game Three on Saturday. Miami has lost the first two games, and they will go for another attempt to spoil the Braves postseason hopes.
The Braves are on a roll as of now, winning four games in a row and continuing to get the majority of their runs via the home run ball. The Marlins, on the other hand, have been having difficulty protecting leads as they let a three-run lead get away from them in Friday night's game.
Atlanta is currently sitting at the top wild card spot in the National League by two games. Right behind them are the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets, with the San Diego Padres hanging around in the hunt.
Miami will send right-hand pitcher Kyle Tyler (0-2, 4.74 ERA) to the mound. He is in search of his first win of the season, but has given the team a good replacement-level pitcher.
The Braves will start rookie right-hander Grant Holmes (0-0, 2.54 ERA) for the second time this year.
