The Miami Marlins played Game Three of their four-game series with the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park on Saturday and won 4-3. Despite Miami starting pitcher Kyle Tyler only going two and two thirds innings, they got much-needed relief by the bullpen and offensive production at the plate.

The Marlins used five relievers in Saturday's game. Declan Cronin was declared the winning pitcher after pitching two innings, allowing one hit and one walk with a couple of strikeouts. Calvin Faucher, who gave up three runs to the Braves late in Friday's game, bounced back and got the save for the Marlins.

Jake Burger and Jesús Sánchez each gave the Marlins all the offense they would need in this game. Burger hit a game-tying home run of the season in the third inning. It's his 17th homer of the season as he continues his hot stretch. He also drove in a run with an RBI single in the fifth. Sánchez hit two doubles -- one of them tied the game and the one in the at-bat afterward gave the Marlins a 4-3 lead.

For the Braves, it was another day with another Marcell Ozuna home run. He now has 32 of them this season. Matt Olson and Eddie Rosario also had RBIs in this game, but they were unable to protect the 3-1 lead they had until the fifth inning.

The Braves lose for the 50th time this season, and now have a record of 60-50. They are currently sitting at the top wild card spot in the National League by a game and a half. The Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets are right behind them, with the San Diego Padres hanging around in the hunt.

As for the Marlins, they are now 41-70. This was a nice team win for them and they will try to keep that momentum for Sunday's series finale to get a split. They will send right-hand pitcher Edward Cabrera to the mound against Braves veteran southpaw Max Fried, who will make his first start since going on the injured list on July 21 with forearm neuritis.
