Troopers Arrest Man for Felony Criminal Mischief of Townsend Business
The Delaware State Police have arrested 24-year-old Jacob Singleton of Bear, Delaware for felony criminal mischief of a Townsend business that occurred last week. On June 27, 2024, at approximately 7:10 p.m., troopers responded to Drake’s Towing, located at 4195 Dupont Parkway, Townsend, for a report of criminal mischief. During the investigation, troopers learned that a man became upset after arriving at the business and discovering it was closed for the day. The suspect proceeded to cause several thousand dollars in damage to the business, including shattering a window with a chair. He then fled from the business in a black sedan. Through investigative means, troopers identified the suspect as Jacob Singleton, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
