El Paso brunch lovers will soon have a new trendy spot to get toasted.

The Toasted Yolk Café, an upscale Houston-based brunch chain, is cracking into the Sun City restaurant scene, according to a published report.

The concept is a lot like other brunch franchises that serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, and boozy libations such as Another Broken Egg, which opened it’s first El Paso location last year at Sunland Park and North Mesa.

The Toasted Yolk offers “reimagined interpretations” of classic and traditional breakfast and brunch fares such as biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict, pancakes, scrambles, omelettes, and novelties like Donuts Churro Style and Fried Banana Peppers.

Sandwiches, soups, and salads make up the majority of its lunchtime offerings. And, of course, no brunch spot worth going to would be complete without mimosas.

Other bar offerings include Bloody Mary and Bloody Maria, and the ‘Morning Rita,’ as well as hand-crafted cocktails and boozy coffee.

It’s a daytime-only concept meaning it won’t be open past 3 p.m. on any day of the week, although group events and private get-togethers can be booked for later in the day.

Where Is It Located and When Does it Open?

The neighborhood eatery will be located in west El Paso at 5860 N Mesa Street in The Shops on Mesa. It’s taking over the space that has sat empty since Dragonfly Wine & Sushi Bristo closed permanently in October of 2023.

The new brunch spot could open by year's end, although an exact date has not been determined.
