Goldie is a 4-year-old female Chihuahua mix who must be spayed before adoption. She was found as a stray out in the county and no owner came looking for her. Goldie is white with black markings; and she only weighs 9 pounds. She is a friendly little gal who gets along well with other dogs. Wetumpka art legend Don Sawyer dies
Look anywhere in Wetumpka and there is Don Sawyer’s mark — the Hollywood Fish. Almost always on a yellow background, the fish is wearing sunglasses and grinning to the world. Look close enough, and you’re likely to find a cross and a church in the painting. Those paintings will now stand as memories as Sawyer died Friday after a battle with cancer.
ADT’s Stars on the Riverfront moves location due to inclement weather
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The Alabama Dance Theatre’s beloved Stars on the Riverfront performance has been moved to a new location. Sunday night’s show has been moved to ADT’s studio located at 1018 Madison Avenue due to rain. The show is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
