Last Summer Concert on the Green Tonight, July 17: Compaq Big Band
Barring any surprise mother nature-y things (well, it is maybe not looking good), the 19-piece ensemble called the Compaq Big Band will play tonight on the Weston Town Green from 7-8:30 pm. They will play many classic hits from the Big Band era to close out the 2024 Weston Summer Concert Series, sponsored by Cambridge Trust.

BOSTON — A recent report is raising more concerns about the impact of climate change in Massachusetts -- specifically what it will cost taxpayers. "Climate change could be costly for Massachusetts cities and towns," said Bo Zhao, a senior economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston who authored that report.

DENNIS - For the second time this year, a flamingo has been spotted in Massachusetts.A member of the Facebook group "Cape Cod Birders" took a picture of the American flamingo on Chapin Beach in Dennis this week.
