Simone Biles enters the final round of the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials with a healthy lead in first place. Biles finished the first night of competition with a 58.900 score. Jordan Chiles is in second place with a 56.400 while Suni Lee sits in third place with a 56.025.

While preparing for the finals at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Biles sent a message on Threads that sparked concern over the nine-time champion and her fellow competitors.

"im tired of these cold ass arenas," Biles posted . The 27-year-old's complaint immediately raised some eyebrows, as they want Biles to have ideal conditions while warming up.

After an unprecedented amount of gymnasts suffered injuries early in competition, fans were not happy.

One fan responded , "And they wonder why two athletes had Olympic Dream ending injuries." Another person commented , "Seems like they should optimize the temps for what the athletes need. I'm sorry that they don't!"

During warmups on Friday, Shilese Jones hurt her leg, however she's able to continue on at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Sunday. In a devastating turn of events, Kayla DiCello and Skye Blakely both suffered rupture achilles that knocked them out of competition.

DiCello, the first competitor of the night, rolled her ankle on the landing of her vault.

DiCello wrote on Instagram afterward, "While this is not the result I envisioned, there’s so much to be proud of. Years of tireless work and dedication in the gym with the dream of representing my country once more at the Olympic Games. Pushing myself to go after new skills, new dreams. There is so much to be thankful for, too."

As for Blakely, she ruptured Achilles while training on  the floor at the Target Center on Wednesday, and required a wheelchair to exit the arena.S

"This is not the way I saw my Olympic trials going or how my season ends," Blakely wrote on Instagram the following day. "I’m devastated and heartbroken but I believe everything happens for a reason. I was so close to reaching my dream but this injury was unavoidable."
