A man has been arrested on suspicion of setting fire to multiple dumpsters on Minneapolis' Lake Street early Monday morning, damaging a tattoo shop in the process.

Firefighters responded to 917 West Lake Street at approximately 3:25 a.m. to reports of a fire in a two-story building whose ground floor unit is home to The Ink Lab.

They found the dumpster at the rear on fire, which had extended to the building and electrical transformer, which kept sparking.

The fire crew began putting out the fires and called in Xcel Energy to fix the electrical pole.

"Nobody got injured, and the shop has minor smoke and water issues," The Ink Lab posted on Facebook . "Currently, we do not have power, so we are closed for the day, but hopefully, we will be back up and running tomorrow."

The upstairs apartment unit in the building has been rendered uninhabitable.

After putting out the first fire, firefighters received reports of a man setting more dumpsters and garbage cans on fire in the area, some of which almost spread to other buildings.

The employee and firefighters saw a man who was potentially setting these fires and called the police. Officers arrested the man, whose name has not been released yet.

There have been no reported injuries.
