Naz Reid a focal point of Minnesota Timberwolves’ future

The Minnesota Timberwolves are looking to take the next step in the season ahead. That would mean getting past the Western Conference finals and elevating themselves to the NBA Finals. Reid will be a sixth man of the year candidate once again. Outside discussion presented a possibility that big man Karl-Anthony Towns could be had . If that were to happen, Reid would likely find himself in the starting lineup.

Last season Reid played in 81 games while averaging a career-best 13.5 points per game. His 5.2 total rebounds per game were also a career-best. Minnesota signed Reid as an undrafted player out of LSU. Minnesota continues to benefit from that decision on a yearly basis. The Timberwolves extended Reid on a three-year contract worth nearly $42 million prior to last season.

Two Words remains an integral part of everything Chris Finch expects his team to accomplish in the year ahead.
