Achieving That Gold Standard of Child Care
Tena Holmgren is Minot AFB’s first FCC provider to be accredited by the National Association for Family Child Care. Minot AFB childcare is striving to reach new heights. Tena Holmgren, one of MAFB’s own Family Child Care (FCC) providers reached those heights by earning her accreditation from the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) back in November 2023. Not only is she one of only two accredited providers in the entire state of North Dakota, but she is also the first ever accredited provider here at Minot AFB. ‘Where’s Waldo?’ returns to downtown Minot
MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) - Once again, downtown Minot is being turned into one big ‘Where’s Waldo?’ for July. It’s a giant scavenger hunt across local businesses, hosted by Main Street Books. It’s a simple challenge—you are tasked to find Waldo in about 25 businesses.
Minot AFB to hold training exercises in local area
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, ND. – Personnel from Minot Air Force Base will conduct military exercises throughout the Minot AFB missile complex between 10-12 July, 2024. These exercises will incorporate the use of blank ammunition from ground and aerial perspectives. Federal and local law enforcement will support exercises from the ground to ensure safe practices and provide immediate assistance.
