Murder suspect arrested in Minot

MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — An arrest has been made in a murder investigation.

According to the Minot Police Department, authorities have arrested 46-year-old Delon Davis of Minot in the murder of Mark McMillan on July 18.

McMillan was reported missing in April and his body was found on July 2.

“This case was extremely complex, especially with the number of anonymous tips we received,” said Investigations Commander Capt. Dale Plessas. “Our investigators spent countless hours investigating them. Thank you to everyone who provided us with information that helped our investigator piece this together and bring the family closure.”

Davis is being charged with Murder — intentional or knowing — Adult Victim, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Theft — possession of firearm, ammunition, explosive device, and False information to Law Enforcement.

Davis is being held in the Ward County Jail.
