Mother arrested on kidnapping charge in Jackson

A mother has been arreted ad charged with kidnapping her two children according to a press release from the Jackson Police Department.

The arrest started with an Endangered Child Alert was issued by the MBI for 6-year-old Montravious Rattler and 4-year-old Jatavis Rattler after a report was made by their custodial grandmother that the children had been kidnapped by their biological mother, 25-year-old Montreanna F. Rattler.

After the alert was issued and shared by MBI, Montreanna brought both of children to the Jackson Police Department, where she was arrested.

The mother was charged with kidnapping. The two children were safely returned to their custodial grandmother.
