Oxford Burglaries end in Arrest for Panola County Man

A Panola County man has been arrested for breaking into storage units on McLarty Road in Oxford. Teddy Austin Jr., a 43 year old male from Courtland in Panola County, was arrested on Aug. 9 and charged with eight counts of commercial burglary.

Another individual is wanted, as well, however the name of the suspect is not available at this time.

Austin's arrest stemmed from security camera footage that was viewed by law enforcement officials. The two individuals involved were wearing masks and cutting locks to enter several storage units, police announced. However, the footage ultimately led to the arrest of Austin.
