Hey foodies! I recently stumbled upon Pearl's Oyster Bar on Google after my plans for The Bronte Boathouse fell through. And boy, am I glad they did! This place is a seafood lover's paradise. I indulged in a feast of coconut shrimp, lobster roll, Le Royal (a divine combo of oysters, shrimp, and scallops), BBQ ribs, escargot, lump crab cake, and calamari. And let's not forget the desserts - lemon tart, carrot cake, and Vesuvious. Every bite was a delight!

The oysters were a standout, both fresh and charbroiled, perfectly shucked with no shells. The fried catfish and shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the hushpuppies had a spicy kick that I loved. The Shrimp & crab dip was a revelation, with the sweet seafood flavor shining through without being overwhelmed by cheese. And the smoked cheddar grits? Best I've ever had!

The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. I did have a minor disappointment when they ran out of king crab legs, but the snow crab legs were a worthy substitute. However, I must mention that not all dishes hit the mark. The red snapper and seafood boil could use a bit more seasoning. But overall, Pearl's Oyster Bar is a gem worth discovering. Can't wait to go back!
