During my summer vacation, I had the pleasure of dining at Third Street Social. The ambiance was top-notch, and the staff, particularly the waiters, were quite charming. However, I found the sequence of serving dishes a bit chaotic, and the food, while not bad, was pretty standard.
The highlight of my visit was the watermelon mule, a refreshing drink that was absolutely delicious. The Korean steak tacos were a revelation, with tender meat and a blend of flavors that worked perfectly together. The grilled chicken sandwich had a nice smoky flavor, but it felt like it was missing something. The dry rub burger was juicy and flavorful, but the pork shoulder with collard greens, grits, and homemade cornbread was the star of the show. Every element on that plate was phenomenal, especially the collard greens.
Despite a few hiccups, Third Street Social is a place I'd recommend for its beautiful atmosphere and mostly delicious food. Just be prepared for a bit of a mix-up with the order of the dishes. But hey, that's part of the charm, right?
