Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro La Floraison. The atmosphere was light, calm, and intimate, making it a perfect spot for special occasions. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring my drink was refilled and making the experience delightful.
The French onion financiers appetizer was a standout, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The tableware was a sight to behold, adding to the overall charm of the place. The stripped bass and the bread and butter were also incredible, making me say 'YUM' throughout the meal.
However, the fried chicken cordon bleu left a bit to be desired, lacking in flavor. The dessert, while visually appealing, was a tad too sweet and greasy if eaten alone. But the cocktails! They were refreshing, full of color, texture, and aroma.
Despite a few minor hiccups, Bistro La Floraison is a gem in Saint Louis. The food, the atmosphere, the service - everything was absolutely wonderful. I can't wait to return and try their other restaurants.
