    Mobile’s newly reopened splash pad closes for repairs, officials say

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Mobilians will have to find other ways to cool off as officials said the Medal of Honor Park splash pad is closed until further notice.

    Pitstop packed in Baldwin as thousands head home from 4th of July

    According to a Facebook post from the City of Mobile Parks & Recreation, the park’s splash pad, which was re-opened on July 4 , is closed while crews continue maintenance repairs on the water pump.

    “We apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause as we understand what a joy it is to have a fun place to cool off during these hot Summer days!” the post said.
