    Wanted kidnapping suspect turns himself in: Mobile Police

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG )— The Mobile Police Department reports that a man wanted in connection with a kidnapping has turned himself in to Metro Jail.

    22-year-old Gary Lamont Dotson was booked into Metro Jail just before 4 p.m.

    Dotson was wanted for first-degree kidnapping by MPD and U.S. Marshals in connection with an incident that occurred on July 10.

    The victim is safe, but authorities were still looking for Dotson as of Tuesday, July 16.

    He is now charged with first-degree kidnapping and two probation violations.

    Dotson will appear in court on Friday, July 19, for a bond hearing.
