On Sunday, August 13th from 10 am - 1 pm, Ollin Farms in Longmont, Colorado, will be featuring a free interactive day on the farm.

The day includes artmaking, food, music, storytelling and more. They will be celebrating the work of local artists as part of their "agriCULTURE: Art Inspired by Land" exhibit.

If you have never been to the family owned Ollin Farms, I recommend a visit. The farm offers fresh locally grown produce, locally produced products, evening dinners, CSA, and great educational programs for youth.

We attended an Ollin Farms event, and we were not disappointed. Our family interacted with farm animals, bought produce and products, watched demonstrations, and had some great food. All while experiencing a festive environment.

What is agriCULTURE Art Inspired by the Land

The “agriCULTURE Art Inspired by the Land” project is a collaboration between the Longmont Museum and the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. There are multiple farm exhibits throughout Boulder County of 15 local and national artists. The multi-media exhibits explore how farming is connected to climate change, water rights, ancestral lands, local history, and environmental impacts.
