Longtime Boilermaker Runner Passes Away Moments After Crossing the Finish Line
One of the most popular events every summer in Central New York is the Boilermaker Road Race. People from 45 different states and 11 countries traveled to Utica, NY for this years big event on the second Sunday in July. Overall it was a huge success. However, for one longtime Boilermaker Nation representative the race ended in tragedy.
Popular Glow In The Dark Golf Is Back In Herkimer
Don't be afraid of the dark- golf in it. Glow In The Dark Golf is back in Herkimer. Holland Heights Golf Course is hosting "Glow In The Dark Golf" on Saturday July 27th starting at 8PM. Registration begins at 8:00PM with tee off at 8:30PM. The cost will be $44 per person which includes 9 holes w/ cart as well as a meal to follow. Glow balls will be available for $6.00 a piece or you can always bring your own.
Cyclists roll through Little Falls on Friday
Sue Hollcroft, Susie Knight, and Sue Weinberg were in the group of Cycle the Erie Canal riders that passed through Little Falls last Friday. HERKIMER — Herkimer College had 36 student-athletes named NJCAA Region III Academic All-Region recently. The recognition is earned by maintaining a 3.50 GPA or better while taking 24 or more credit hours during the 2023-2024 academic year. Defense dominates in River Hawks’ win
OSWEGO – In a contest where defense was the name of the game, the Oswego River Hawks edged the hometown Utica Yeti 9-6 on Friday night at the Nexus Center. The win brought Oswego’s divisional record to 3-1, while the Yeti dropped to 1-4.
