MONTGOMERY CO., Pa. -- A new Trader Joe's store is coming to eastern Pennsylvania, but the grocer's Lehigh Valley fans will still face a lengthy drive for their fix of "TJ's." The new store will open at 224 W. Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia, Montgomery County. That is about a 60-mile drive from Bethlehem. The opening date has not been set.
Code Orange air quality alert issued for multiple Philadelphia-area counties
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Code Orange air quality alert has been issued for multiple parts of Pennsylvania Monday, including several counties in the Philadelphia area.According to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties are all included in the Air Quality Action Day due to ozone pollution. According to meteorologist Kate Bilo, this happens frequently with a prolonged heat wave as pollutants become trapped near the Earth's surface. 2-year-old recovering after fallen tree branch severs his arm in Montgomery County
A 2-year-old boy is recovering after a large tree branch fell on his arm and severed it in Montgomery County on Saturday.It happened at approximately 6 p.m. at a home on Chandler Road in Cheltenham Township.Authorities say the boy was attending a birthday party when the incident occurred.According to police, the branch fell about 50 feet while a group of children was playing in a driveway.He was rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where his arm was later amputated.
