Port Jervis drug dealer sentenced to four years in jail
PORT JERVIS- A Port Jervis man has been sentenced to four years in state prison followed by two years of post-release supervision after pleading guilty to selling drugs. Marcus Henderson, 27, was arrested by police after they executed a search warrant at a residence in the City of Port Jervis on February 29, 2024. While executing the warrant, police officers recovered a quantity of cocaine from Henderson as well as scales used in narcotics trafficking, packaging materials, and cash from the residence.

District Attorney Hoovler Announces Life Without Parole Sentence in Wallkill Murder for Hire Cas
Enoch Lowe Previously Convicted of Murder in the First Degree and Related Crimes for Hiring Another Man to Kill his Neighbor. Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced that on Thursday, July 18, 2024, Enoch Lowe, age 25, of Wallkill, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole following his conviction after a jury trial in the Orange County Court of all charges against him, including the crimes of Murder in the First Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Conspiracy in the Second Degree. Additionally, the Court imposed a sentence of one and one third (1 and 1/3) to four (4) years in prison on the Tampering with Physical Evidence charge and ordered that sentence to run consecutive to the sentence imposed on the Murder charge, thus constituting the maximum sentence permitted by law.
