New OCNY Arts and Music Festival Labor Day weekend
The Orange County New York (OCNY) Arts Council will host the county’s largest Arts and Music Festival on Sunday, Sept. 1, at the Hudson Sports Complex in Warwick, New York. The event titled OC Live! will feature artists from across the county and the Hudson Valley region combining elements of a live music festival, an art fair, a makerfaire, and a food truck festival. Officers responded to the area, contacted the involved party and advised him of the dangers of shooting a crossbow in that area. The male understood the concerns raised and left the scene voluntarily.

Council OKs $1.2M for Dygos Field
The Township Council approved an appropriation of nearly $1.4 million for capital purchases at its meeting Wednesday, July 17. That includes almost $1.2 million for engineering and lighting at Dygos Field as well as $72,000 for fire equipment and $65,000 to pave the parking lot of the First Aid Squad building on Ridge Road.
