In today’s Fact or Fiction I look at three big recent topics in college football and decide whether the statement is indeed FACT or if it’s FICTION .

    1. Michigan will have to vacate wins.

    Farrell’s take: FICTION

The NCAA doesn’t have the respect nor the balls to revoke a national title. Even when they were feared it was unlikely to happen and with what appears to be a very average case against Michigan, I don’t see much aside from a fine and a couple more coaches getting short suspensions.

    2. Oregon is the biggest threat to Ohio State in the Big Ten.

    Farrell’s take: FACT

Ducks haters point to the fact they’ve never won anything but history doesn’t mean much when you have a loaded roster between excellent recruiting (Mario Cristobal and Dan Lanning) and a monster portal class. Lanning appears to be a solid coach and I always go with roster talent over the rest when it’s this elite. The Buckeyes finish first but Oregon will be second.

    3. Alabama will win 10 games this season.

    Farrell’s take: FICTION

Kalen DeBoer will go 9-3 this season, miss the SEC title game and the playoff and Alabama fans will lose their minds. The SEC is loaded and Texas and Oklahoma make it deeper. There are six teams — Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, LSU, Oklahoma and Auburn — who could get them and I think they lose half of these games.
