WASHINGTON, D.C NEWS – Wet weather returns to the DMV area all next week
Rainy weather is set to return to the D.C. area on Monday, with cloudy skies and scattered showers and thunderstorms expected. High temperatures will reach the mid-80s, so keep your umbrella or rain jacket handy, as you’ll need them at times, according to 7News First Alert Meteorologist Brian van de Graaff. Temperatures will drop to the 70s in the evening, with isolated rain possible after 4 p.m. Although the risk of severe weather is low, it is not zero, says 7News Meteorologist Steve Rudin.

Jay Korff, a reporter with WJLA Channel 7, the ABC affiliate in the Washington metropolitan area, received a Regional Emmy for his story, History Hidden No More, which aired in February 2023. Korff was honored during the 66th Regional Emmy Awards ceremony on June 22 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, Maryland.
