Amtrak awards Connecticut River Bridge construction contract
Amtrak last week awarded a contract to O&G/Tutor Perini, a joint venture, to begin construction of a new Connecticut River Bridge. The contract was awarded following recent permit approvals from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Amtrak officials said in a press release.

First off, beginning the week of July 8, 2024 we are adding an additional day to our schedule! The Haddam Senior Center will now be open on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We will not have a served lunch available to start, but we hope to bring that in at some point in the future. Neal Perron will be your host on Fridays, so stay tuned as we move forward with additional events scheduled on that day, too.
