Legacy Chorale performing in Little Falls April 14

    2024-04-05

The Legacy Chorale will present their spring concert ‘The Hills Are Alive With the Sound of Music’ on April 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Chapel at the Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls.

The program includes Schubert’s Mass in G, accompanied by string quartet and piano, as well as selections from The Sound of Music. The Legacy Chorale is a Brainerd-based auditioned adult choir that has presented over 100 live choral concerts across Greater Minnesota since the fall of 2002. The Legacy Chorale is directed by Michael Smith and accompanied by Laura Raedeke.

The choir is part of the Legacy Chorale of Greater Minnesota, a nonprofit organization which supports adult and youth choirs in the Brainerd lakes area. The organization’s mission statement is “to ensure the legacy of excellence in choral music in the greater Minnesota area while enriching, inspiring, and renewing the communities in which we live.”

Visit legacychorale.org/events for additional concert information. Tickets are available to all by free will donation and may be reserved online or picked up at the door. All seating is general admission. This concert is made possible in part by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Five Wings Arts Council, through a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
