Mount Hope, WV (WVNS) – A special sun-catcher building class was held on June 23rd.

Amy Tyree is the owner of “Heart to Hands the Serendipity Shop” in Mount Hope. In her pursuit of her own wellness, Amy started to learn about herbs and essential oils, which led her to taking some Reiki classes.

Eventually she wanted to share what she’d learned with others and help them on their own journeys toward wellness, so she started the business. This class was a craft workshop building sun-catchers. She said building the sun-catchers can help with the mind-body spiritual connection, and building them as a group adds another layer.

“This is something they can do for themselves. They take time out, they come and get together. I mean, we can all go buy this stuff and make it by ourselves, but it’s not as fun,” said Amy Tyree.
