The shooting happened near Kennelworth Avenue and Harrison Street on Wednesday, July 3 at about 9:45 p.m. Michigan State Police said the man was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.

Two Suspects Arrested In Flint Fatal Shooting
A deadly shooting on Flint’s north side Monday night has led to the arrest of two suspects. Police were called to a BP gas station in the 4000 block of Clio Road around 9:30. According to police, a 24-year-old man and an 18-year-old man got into a verbal altercation with two suspects which escalated into a physical fight. Police say someone then pulled a gun and shot the two victims. They were taken to a local hospital where the 24-year-old man died from his injuries. The 18-year-old was listed in good condition.
