LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A juvenile is charged with murder after a 21-year-old man was shot at the Greenwood Boat Ramp in June, the second person charged in the case. In a news release Tuesday, Louisville Metro Police only identified the juvenile as "ML." No age was given. The juvenile is charged with murder, assault, tampering with physical evidence and possession of a handgun by a minor.

Motorcyclist hospitalized in Bardstown Road crash over the weekend has died
A motorcyclist hospitalized after a Bardstown Road crash on Saturday afternoon has died from his injuries, Louisville Metro Police said in a statement Thursday morning. LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said witnesses told the department they observed a motorcycle traveling “at a high rate of speed” run a red light at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Tyler Lane. After, Mitchell said, the driver “was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a vehicle that was operating eastbound on Tyler Lane.”

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A southeast Bullitt County firefighter is being praised for his heroic actions after a man went into cardiac arrest at the Shelby County fair. A letter from the Shelbyville Police Department said on June 12, Firefighter Tatum Scharrer was at the Shelby County fair while he was off duty when a man went into cardiac arrest at the starting line-up of the dirt track. Scharrer was nearby and immediately stepped into action and performed CPR until Shelby County EMS arrived.
