OHP identifies 25-year-old woman killed in multi-vehicle weekend crash near Guthrie
LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol released information about the person who died in a multi-vehicle crash over the weekend outside of Guthrie. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report states that three vehicles were involved in a crash around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday on Portland Avenue near Triplett Road in Logan County. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and four others were taken to area hospitals.

Warrant issued for woman accused of exploiting elderly woman out of nearly $52,000
NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Tammy Dene Jones, 51, Enid, by the Kay County District Court. Jones is facing felony counts of exploitation of elderly and or disabled adult by deception and intimidation and computer fraud and or unlawful use of a computer system. Ponca City police report that Jones is accused of fraudulently obtaining $51,877.94 from a senior citizen.
Not Too Early Big XII Hoops Predictions: No. 12, Oklahoma State
Several Big XII teams may have depth problems this season. Oklahoma State will not be among them. In fact, it is possible the Cowboys could be the deepest team in the conference. The Board of Osage County Commissioners convened for a regularly scheduled meeting at the fairgrounds on Monday morning for a brief and productive meeting. Monday's meeting was the first one since the Board had hired Stacey Brace to be a commissioner's assistant. From now on, Brace will put the agenda together for the meeting.
